I am seeking a bit of help to see if anybody knows the origin of the name for the Three sisters public house in Otterham Quay Lane, Rainham, maybe who the Three sisters are that it refers too. If not could you point me in the right direction of somebody who may know.
I appreciate any help that you may be able to give.

That is strange I know two stories for this, and I am pretty sure niether are accurate.
According to my dad, it was named after family members of his. However, the people he believes they were named after I am pretty sure were too young in comparison to the pub. Although, alternatively I have seen a picture of a painting of the Pub with three girls standing in front and I am sure there is an attached note to it. I will enquire further about it for you.
